Максим Фомичёв-Замилов | Поэзия и проза

Only the disciplined goes far.
Only the disciplined does not settle for less.
Only the disciplined runs like a bull.
Only the disciplined knows no rest.

Soft is dough in the hands of a baker.
Plastic is clay in the hands of a sculptor.
Pliable is iron in the hands of a blacksmith.
Only the disciplined is stiff.

With this stiffness the disciplined
Nails the moon and stars to the sky.
With this stiffness the disciplined
Threads a needle through his wounds.

With this stiffness the disciplined
Bounces back when hit with a boulder.
With this stiffness the disciplined
Crushes rocks as a hammer.

Only the disciplined prevails.
Only the disciplined succeeds.
Only the disciplined becomes a true man.
Only the disciplined has courage to dream.

Only the disciplined overcomes the circumstances.
Only the disciplined maintains the course in the face of danger.
Only the disciplined becomes the force of nature.
