Максим Фомичёв-Замилов | Поэзия и проза

The pearl of moon is shining at me.
You are shining at me.
And I am shining at you.
We both shine with the invisible light.

Not everything that I do is invisible,
Although some things are meant to remain hidden.
My feelings do but need neon signs,
My actions do not require recognition.
I love you not because I need your attention.
I love you because you need mine.

In this interconnected world
Our love is bouncing caught up between us
Like a ray of light caught up been two mirrors.
This light amplifies in perpetual reflection
And illuminates everything around.

If the light dims I step a little closer.
I step back when the intensity flashes
And threatens to consume us.

It is a fine-tuned dance
That builds this resonance.
The resonance,
Which we in human terms
Call love.
