The question is not “what is the meaning of life?”
The question is “what is the meaning of my life?”

Cartoons and sudoku mixed with chips:
we move through life
like passengers on an airplane.
We think that God is in the pilot’s seat
but I’ve been to the cabin,
it is empty.

We are all passengers
on a journey from life to death.

The meaning that we search for
is a mannequin in the driver’s seat.

Countless meanings
superimpose and collide
like drops of paint on a masterpiece
stirred into being
by artist’s brush.

Is God an artist?

Perhaps.
But cacophonies are easy to create.

You are the artist!
Pick up your brush!
Together we create the masterpiece
called life
by choosing our drops of meaning.
