Максим Фомичёв-Замилов | Поэзия и проза

You have been captured by a mirror,
The quiet life is not for you.
The other side is so near,
Yet those who dare are so few.

Just set one foot in front of the other,
And go through the glassy shine.
Adventure is your nursing mother,
Don’t be afraid, you’ll do just fine.

They call you Alice for a reason.
The glass-lined rabbit hole is deep.
You have escaped this senseless prison,
Asleep you are, again asleep.

Wake up my child! Be asunder
From common sense and common grief.
Discover world that’s full of wonder
Unfold it like a budding leaf.

Discover world that’s full of glory
And unexplored from East to West.
You are the author of your story,
Begin and fate will do the rest.
