I don’t want to feel any different.

One cannot play only on the white keys.
One cannot drink only sweet water.
Change is the only constant.

I want to feel change
From day to day
On my life’s journey.
I want to feel change
In my heart
And in my surroundings.

Entropy increases
As I navigate my way
Through the Universe.

I do not want to stand still.
I do not want to remain in one place.
I want to feel motion.
I want to feel progress.
I want to feel alive.

Change
Is the blood of life.
Change is the backbone of nature.
Change is my enemy and my friend.

The only thing that I don’t want to change
Is you.
But I know you must.
